This temple was established in 1983 as the first Saivite temple in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is administered by the Saiva Mission of Quebec, a religious non-profit organization.

While the temple serves Saivite devotees to fulfill their religious rituals and functions, people of all faiths are welcome.
